Can I Work Out Or Shower After A Brazilian Wax?

Movie Review: Shutter Island

Finally! We did it! I saw Shutter Island.

And it's good. Even if it has similarities to Inception. Or...Inception to Shutter Island.

But it's good, anyway. The end was a bit disturbing 'cause I'm not convinced that Daniels really is a lunatic and just imagined this whole thing. It's more like they wanted to convince him to make him a mindless little soldier but I'm so not sure 'bout this 'cause: why the hell would they do that? I mean he's not that special, isn' he?

Uhm, anyway, I liked the dream stuff again (is it obvious that I love surreal topics?), and some parts thrilled and kinda scared me, too. I don' like dark corridors where yer not sure if yer alone or not. Reminds me a little of Batman:Arkham Asylum .
And I really don' like these kind of lunatics. The "I jump on yer back and kill ye" ones.

Nevertheless, it freaked me out for several times, Oh and I liked (or didn' like) the score 'cause it was this specific kinda score that scares the crap outa ye. Why? 'cause ye see Daniels just drive to this bloody asylum and if ye would have had a nice little peaceful track playin' everything would've been okay. It would've seem like a normal sunny day. But with this creeper it was more like a horror movie. It made the whole thing menacing. I love to mind the soundtrack in movies and this one...let's say, I wouldn' play it at home when nobody's here. It's very similar to the soundtrack of Dracula (the one with Gary Oldman). My sister played it years ago for an RPG and we all flipped out.

'nother pint I liked was the location. I mean I do not like asylums, I don' even like hospitals (ok, I hate them; something that can be very problematic in my future XD) but this was a part that was enough for me to make the movie scary.

Wasn' my favourite movie but I think it was cool, exciting and nicely done. Enough for a spooky evening and better than some stupid splatter massacre with a brutal maniac that is rippin' out yer insides with a chainsaw, an axe or maybe...a spoon, dunno. I totally prefer thriller.

P.s.: Gosh; I just can' write this damn paper; it makes me mad. I have absolutely no.fuckin'.clue what to write without retellin' the crap completely. So I'm skiving off work with writin' reviews an' senseless starin' at my screen. Fantastic!
