Movie Review - Surrogates
Yunis and yesterday I finally had time to look at us Surrogates , here's a little review (without being too extravagant to be, hopefully). First I had
yes to be honest, absolutely no interest in the film, but since my darling wanted to see him necessarily, I am not at some time resisted. Fortunately! While Bruce is the good a little the years have come, but somehow just makes the film more interesting.
Bruce Willis is no longer the "young boy" from Die Hard , but just that fact fit just fine in the concept of Surrogates !
is what's really at ~ Yes Surrogates ? In short, there is one huge social criticism. In 2017, humanity no longer trusts almost out the door, and lives almost exclusively by their so-called surrogate, highly sensitive robots that are controlled via mind control, and real people, though extremely similar view, but never grow old, die or otherwise subject to the human cycle of things.
As two of the avatars (somehow are films in which people control other body grad popular) attacked, die operator, but contrary to their other experiences and also turns out that the one sacrifice of the son of the inventor, the Surrogates, trouble ; SST FBI Agent Greer a conspiracy. If the
known story (just google for more). All the latest after Bruce Willis enters the scene the first time, begins the critique of society. Willis looks like a Botox victim, has hair on his head and just looks unnaturally young and over-healthy. As we know, he also controls a surrogate. When they wanted to be true I get shows, you realize that it is not just getting on in years, but also that the surrogate not only have advantages.
Greer's wife is not absolutely thrilled that her husband in his real human form, running through the house while she appears young and beautiful and spotless - all thanks to its robotic self.
As the film is Greer (Willis) is then naturally refined, rather than continuing to be followers of the Surrogates, is He ultimately responsible for their complete destruction.
The entire film is a harsh criticism of the obsession with beauty, try to stay the fearless forever young and beautiful, but also the unauthorized invasion of privacy and the like. So the FBI agents by means of a control unit capable of locating any surrogates at any time, anywhere, to hack into his system to see what the operator sees and feels and even him off. This can be useful, as we see in a scene (two Surros be switched off as they try to rape a woman), but is still a gross violation of privacy because the Surros by thoughts and emotions to be controlled and (except for the fact that they are artificial) is extremely close to the real people get close.
Nevertheless, it mitanzusehen almost grotesque, as it's all about only to upgrades and eternal youth, such as marriage Greer is only through the quasi Surros and so on.
The award, which remained in my mind was the following: Life ... only better!
In principle, one could cause an endless debate on the ethical use of such robots, they may in some situations certainly have their advantages and for some people it would also ensure a real profit. Suddenly, all to be beautiful, toned, lean, athletic and successful, look like they want, you have a car accident, dies only the surrogates, not the real person who buys a new robot just then.
Nevertheless, the film leaves a strange feeling in my stomach - I personally would not exactly fit it in my stuff, if our society consists only of robots. It's like Second Life : how do I know that when I flirt with a woman, really just a perverse Spacko in his face, had "the tail hanging out of his pants" (quote from the movie)?
So definitely a movie that inspires me to reflect and violently surprisingly well liked!
look at, discuss about it, get out of it - the beauty craze goes too far anyway. Instead of Botox and surgeries's are dependent at some point robot!
